WELCOME to your senior year of English I am pleased to spend your last year of high school literature and composition with you and to assist in your transition to college. During the year, we will be writing (your number 1 activity), reviewing commas and other conventions of writing, completing a college portfolio, reading novels, reviewing MLA & APA style referencing and bibliographies, speaking formally, reviewing vocabulary, discussing fiction and non-fiction, creating projects, practicing note taking and study skills, participating in Socratic Discussion, and more while preparing for college writing assignments in all of your future curriculum. All this, while you complete ALL of your assignments and maintain at least a B average. |
